BOMBAY WATERFRONT 1952 (RENOWN)

No too bad of a thriler.

This was also known as "Paul Temple Returns" but the name Paul Temple was unknown in America at the time of release.

John Bentley stars as crime writer Paul Temple who along with his gorgeous wife Steve (Patricia Dainton) life a very quiet and comfortable life.

A killer is terrorizing London and every victim is found to have a note signed by "The Marquis" left on their body. Scotland Yard is stumped by the case since there is not one piece of evidence connecting any of the victims.

Temple is warned to stay away from the case, but her and Steve are finally called in after a few more murders. This is the fourth and final film in the series and it moves along very well.

The ending where the killer is finally revealed is well handled and the cast is very well suited to the material. As I watched this I also thought of the many Edgar Wallace murder mysteries I have seen and read over the years.

The rest of the cast includes Christopher Lee, Arthur Hill, Robert Urquhart, Valentine Dyall and Dan Jackson. I woould really recommend this for mystery fans.
