This is again a fairly simple plot. A Jamaican voodoo priest, called an Obi-manputs a hex on a the head of a student hostel and slowly but surely the man begins to lose his mind.
When he dies the Obi-man himself becomes a victim of the vengeful spirit of the man he killed. Some of the scenes in this film are pretty creepy and very well done.
What I really thought was interesting is that this movie has an almost all black cast, and that was very unusual for a horror film, especially one shot in England.
The cast does a very good job with the material and it does make for 83 minutes of interesting movie. I just wish they had it move a little faster as that might be a turn off to potential viewers.
The cast includes Basil Dingnam, Anthony Ainley, Richard Coleman, John Ashley Hamilton, Carmen Munroe, Brylo Forde, and Dan Jackson.
