31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAY 1: THE MUMMY 1932 (UNIVERSAL)

All time classic Universal film about a love spanning thousands of years. Boris Karloff is Imhotep the man buried alive 3000 years previous who returns to life after an expidition opens his tomb and that of his long lost love, the Princess Anckesenamon.

Zita Johann is lovely as the reincarnated princess and Edward Van Sloane is on hand to stop Karloff, if possible. Simply one of the greatest films ever made in the Universal library, it proves you don't need flash and glitz to make a great story. The modern day remakes of this films are crap geared to a generation who has the attention span of a housefly. I cannot recommend this enough!!
