RIP ROGER PERRY 1933-2018

An actor I always thought was good in everything he was in has died.

Roger Perry did a lot of TV and started his career in 1959 on an episode of "Desilu Playhouse" entitled "Ballad For A Badman". He never looked back. His career in TV and movies lasted until 2010.

The 1970's was Perry's busiest time. He appeared in such TV shows as "Mannix", "Movin' On", "Bob Newhart Show", "The Minsters", "Perry Mason" and many more. I was first introduced to Perry in one of his many film performances.

I first saw him as Dr. Desmond in the classic film "The Thing With Two Heads" which I consider to be one of the most bizarre yet entertaining films ever made. Perry also starred in two of the finest examples of Vampire movies ever made, "Count Yorga, Vampire" and "Return Of Count Yorga".

His acting style was usually laid back and sometimes he was very capable of dry humor which you really hasd to listen to in order to get a laugh out of it.

Perry passed away July 12th, 2018 at the age of 85.
