Shot in Manila in 1965 but not released until 1971 here in the US comes this interesting tale of women being killed and drained of their blood in the streets of Manila.
A US sex crimes investigator is called in to help solve the case, and he soon finds himself involved with a bizarre cult and a lovely woman that needs blood to stay young. Her assistant is a monster with a weird looking melted face!!
This is one of the rarest films to come from the Philippines and it was released here with a British film called Blood Suckers in 1971.
The movie moves along well and the plot is not new, but neither is it boring and slow. It is Black and White and that always works to a films advantage, in my opinion. Recommended viewing for fans of bizarre cinema.
