This film was shot in 2 days and a night by Corman and it looks very cheap, but that is part of it's huge appeal. The skid row settings are perfect and the cast is top notch. Jackie Joseph is pefect as Audrey and Mel Wells is Gravis Muchnik, the Bloom Tycoon, and Jack Nicholson as a masochist dental patient!
Most of you have probably seen this film, but if you need a laugh there is no better film to pull off the shelf and watch.
Great music scire by Fred Katz had already been used before in other films, but was recycled many times for others including this one.
