Filmed in Spain in2007, this excellent story follows a female TV news reporter as she does a story on a firehouse and the fire fighters that live there for a 48 hour shift. The firemen are called to an apartment building and soon everyone finds themselves trapped inside the building with some residents who have become very violent and comsume the flesh of the people they attack.
Horror, fear and panic become the norm as more and more people are infected and turn violent. This is a very effective and well made film and spawned a US remake entitled Quarentine which in and of itself was good.
If you get a chance check it out. There is a sequel entitled REC 2 and it is just as bizarre. Highly Recommended!!
