This is considered to be the "lost" John Carpenter film made just before Halloween made him a big time player. In this film Lauren Hutton moves into a highrise apartment and is terrorized by a very sick peeping tom/stalker.
This is a made for TV movie, so the violence is toned down, but the trademark carpenter suspense is right on the mark. Co-stars Adreinne Barbeau, Charles Cyphers and David Birney all do very good jobs.
Recommended thriller.
