Excellent little Monte Hellman film about a strange blood drinking monster that begins stalking several people on a cross county ski trip. Theree of the men are criminals who have stolen gold from the local bank, one is the leaders moll who wants out and then there is the ski instructor.
The monster is bizarre looking and I have never been sure what it is, but it keeps it's victims in cocoon bags to feed on later. Michael Forest leads the cast for this great Roger Corman production filmed in the snowy Black Hills of South Dakota.
For lovers of movies from the silent era to modern day with an emphasis on horror, sci-fi, exploitation, WIP, westerns and anything of the fantastic and bizarre.
