One of the 10 best science fiction films of the 50's stars James Whitmore and James Arness as two men who discover that giant mutated ants are running loose in the desert of New Mexico. After a while the movie moves to LA in which the ants are found to be lving and breeding in the 700 mile sewer system.
Todays movie makers could watch this and take a lesson in how to make a suspenseful film and one that is entertaining. Don't get me wrong, not all modern films are bad but I think about 97% are.
This film still packs a wallop today and is just as good now as it was in 1954. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
