Fred Olen Ray brings us this throwback to the giant monster movies of old with this fantastic tale of a very large shark that can fly and can also walk on land. This is Fred's imitation of Sharktopus as the beginning of the movie even has a theme song like Sharktopus.
Sarah Lieving plays an investigator loooking into the destruction of an off shore oil rig when she first runs head long into John Scheinder who plays the oil company exec. She gets stonewalled by him and soon discovers that a giant shark in on the rampage.
For a modern monster movie this isn't bad at all, the effects are a little on the cheap, but that is to be expected. A cameo by Jimmy "JJ" Walker has to be seen to be believed...lol.
Highly Recommended!!
