THE TORTURER 2005 (DVD-R)

Modern day Italian Giallo from Lamberto Bava revolves around young attractive actresses being kidnapped and tortured by a sadist who films their agony. Sometime a little too bloody, but not bad, this is one hell of a twisted film that has some real over the top torture.
Bava is the son of legendary Mario Bava, and some of his father's touches are in this film, but Lamberto does indeed have his own tricks as well.
I finally got ahold of a copy of this film and I have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. A good bet for horror fans.
