THE GREAT FLAMARION 1944 (MILL CREEK)

Anthony Mann directed this classic film noir about an expert marksman who plots to kill his male assistant in order to be with his wife, but finds he has been duped by her as well.
Eric Von Stroheim is Flamarion and handles the part excellently. Mary beth Hughes is the woman who dupes him and Dan Duryea is the man Flamarion kills.
Director Mann never really made a bad film and he was an expert in this genre.
One of the greats of the film noir,this is highly recommended film viewing.
