Kino has announced the Blu-ray release of the super obscure film called "The Ghost Of Sierra de Cobre" starring Martin Landau and directed by Joseph Stefano and Robert Stevens. This is a made for TV movie from 1964 that was considered too scary at the time to be aired and has since been considered a lost film. Street date is Oct. 16th.
Shout Factory has announced the Blu-ray release of "The Blue Dahlia". Alan Ladd and Veronica Lake star in this film noir classic about a man accused of killing his unfaithful wife. Street date is Nov. 13th. I do hope Shout will turn out more film noir.
Blue Underground easily has one of the best releases of the year with this stunner. On Nov. 27th they are bringing us a three disc limited edition on Blu-ray of the Lucio Fulci shocker "Zombie". This three disc set will include a $K transfer from the original camera negative, disc 2 will have tons of interviews of the cast and crew and disc three is the soundtrack!! Merry Christmas to me.
