Dix was a versatile and prolific actor whose career started in 1954 and lasted until 2018.
He starred in many, many of genre films and I have to admit I liked them all. They included "Blood Of Dracula's Castle", "Forbidden Planet", "Frankenstein's Daughter", "Horror Of The Blood Monsters" and the James Bond film "Live And Let Die"...plus much more.
My first introduction to him was in "Blood Of Dracula's Castle" as the man who turns into a werewolf. He appeared in many western TV shows as well including "Gunsmoke", " The Rifleman" and "26 Men".
In the 70's Robert fell on very hard times and some of the stories in his autobiography are horrifying. However, a great actor and one of my childhood staples. He died on Aug. 6th at the age of 83.
