Tom Tyler stars as Jerry Lane.
A man dies and leaves a fortune hidden on his ranch. Everyone believes the clue to the hidden money is kept in an old picture frame. When the dead man's belongings go up for auction, a mysterious man named Jerry Lane out bids everyone for the picture.
This outrages Brandon (Forrest Taylor) and his thugs so they decide to take care of things their way.
Before you know it Jerry is framed for murder, and must not only prove his innocence, but he has to help the young female owner of the ranch find the hidden money.
This is a very enjoyable western/mystery film from poverty row. I enjoyed it a lot. The print from Sinister is beautiful, and if you're a fan of poverty westerns, this is one you need to see.
The rest of the cast includes Beth Marion, Sammy Cohen and Soledad Jimenez.
