RIP BOB DORIAN ?-2019

The former host of AMC when it first began running old movies has died.

Dorian began hosting movies on AMC in 1984 and was always a very welcome person into my home.

Dorian was a part time actor and a huge movie buff. He wasn't an expert like others, but he was a fan who knew things about the films and was a very congenial host.

I miss people like Bob Dorian, because he and Robert Osborne were the two best hosts of older films on TV. Dorian died on June 15th, 2019 and I have no record of the year he was born. He will always be remembered by movie fans, however before AMC changed from American Movie Classics to All Movies Cut.
