REVENGE OF FRANKENSTEIN 1958 (MILL CREEK)

A Hammer classic.

Peter Cushing is Dr. Frankenstein, who escapes the guillotine and heads for Germany to once again begin experimenting with bringing the dead to life.

This time the good Doctor is trying a brain transplant and it actually works for a while, then all hell breaks loose again. The townspeople are so fed up that they decide to kill Frankenstein, but it is his patients who get to him first and beat him so badly that he has little chance of survival.

The movie ends with the doctor working somewhere else after having his life saved by his very capable assistant. This is a very well done film directed by Terence Fisher. An absolute must for horror fans. Mill Creek has licensed this film from Columbia, and they have a beautiful widescreen print.
