RIP RAY PRICE 1926-2013

A true music legend has passed away.

The man who sang the hit song "For The Good Times" that hit both the country music and Billboard pop charts has passed away at the age of 87.

His single "Crazy Arms" in 1956 spent 20 weeks atop the charts and introduced the bass driven four-four rhythm that became the touchstone of the Nashville sound. So popular was it that is was called the "Ray Price Beat".

Price died from complications from pancreatic cancer.
