Ron Sweed was known as "The Ghoul" in the Cleveland area from 1970-1979.
Young people today have no idea what it was like for kids like myself back in the good old days watching old horror movies on TV with a personality hosting the show.
Sweed made fun of the movies he showed and it was all in good fun. Ron was a cfazy and funny man when on the air and was a fixture in broadcasting for over 30 years.
About 5 months ago Ron suffered a heart attack and never fully recovered. He died on April 1st at the age of 70.
