This is also known as "Murder Syndrome" and is a mixture of Giallo and Horror from director Riccardo Freda.
Stefano Patrizi stars as Michael, a very successful actor who has a horrifying scandal hidden in his past. After filming another movie he and his girlfriend, Deborah (Silvia Dionisio) go to his mother house for a vacation in the country.
They are soon joined by the director of their last film as a few others as well. A cold reception awaits everyone and it soon becomes clear that Michael has a very close relationship with his mother.
Soon the people are being killed off one by one and it is revealed that Michael's big secret is that he knifed his father after he saw him abusing his mother. This is also revealed to not be what is appears as well.
There are a lot of twists and turns in this rare Giallo/Horror film that any fan might want to check out. The rest of the cast includes John Richardson and the gorgeous Laura Gemser.
The print from Sinister isn't too bad at all. A huge thanks to them for getting this out to the public.
