Gene Autry stars as himself in this totally fun 12 chapter serial about the ancient lost kingdom of Mu trying to conquer the world.
The kingdom is ruled by Queen Tika (Dorothy Christy) and her underground world is situated directly beneath Autry's Radio Ranch, where he does a daily broadcast.
The kingdom has a huge supply of radium, which brings some crooked people looking to steal it all, but they have to get rid of Autry and his ranch and then raid the underground kingdom.
We get plenty of great action as well as a few country songs as Autry has to be on the air every day by 2pm on loose his lease on the ranch. Yep, there is a lot going on here.
Mascot produced this wonderful and sometime goofy serial and it still remains to this day one of the best ever made. The others in the cast include Frankie Darro, Betsy King Ross, Wheeler Oakman and Charles K. French.
