Constance Towers is top notch in the role of Kelly, the woman who wants to change her life. Anthony Eisley is very good as Capt. Griff, the corrupt but sometimes fair policeman and Virginia Grey is Candy, who owns a bordello across the river from the small town.
This is excellent filmmaking as you care about the character of Kelly, and the shocking thing her fiance likes will likely turn your stomach.
Great film for any film fan, any film noir fan and and Sam Fuller fan. Very Highly Recommended!!
