A proper English man in the American West who is here to sell guns, becomes the Sheriff of a small town called Fractured Jaw and he falls in love with the local saloon keeper named Kate, played by Jayne Mansfield.
The comedy is good and clean, Jayne does of few musical numbers and the photography is magnificent. Mansfield could always do humor and was best when doing that, although she did have some very good serious roles as well. Raoul Walsh directs with a good flair for the humor andd the cast is rounded out with Henry Hull, Kenneth More, William Campbell and Robert Morley.
Recommended for people who like their comedy clean and good.
