This is an interesting film about an abused woman and her daughter plotting to kill their abusive husband/father played wonderfully by Michael Gough.
The movie steals the plot of the 1955 film Diabolique and does well as far as it goes, but the film does stall in some places and is slow moving, but when they finally "kill" him and the body keeps turning up in odd places it does give a few small shivers.
The end is a little convoluted and makes not too much sense, but it still works. I recommend this for the very cold performance of Gough. This is actually a great film for fall viewing!!
