Ygor, played by Bela Lugosi brings the monster back to life and takes it to a son of the original Frankenstein named Ludwig. Cedric Hardwicke plays Ludwig, a man obsessed with bringing the monster to full power again, but is unaware of what and who Ygor has in mind for a new brain to place in the skull of the monster.
Lon Chaney, Jr. plays the monster this time and the rest of the cast is filled out with Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill and the lovely Evelyn Ankers. Evelyn is always a joy to watch and I have always found her extremely attractive and she was one of the reasons I always tuned into Universal films when I was young. Highly Recommend horror film.
