Sabu is a boxer training for a Light Heavyweight Championship fight in Los Angeles when his brother appears and asks him to help with some trouble he is having ruling his small Indo-Chinese island.
Sabu refuses at first but after his brother is gunned down leaving the gym, he decides he has to go back and fight the threat. And just what is that threat? Communists, of course.
There are some pretty good scenes in this film and it does keep moving at a brisk pace. William Berke directed this and the rest of the cast includes Lita Baron, H.B Warner and Margia Dean.
On this disc there is an interview with Margia, and I have always been fascinated by her. In her day, she was one of the sexiest women to ever grace the silver screen, and she never became a huge star, but she did make some interesting films such as this one, "The Creeping Unknown" and "Ambush At Cimmeron Pass".
This is good Saturday morning viewing and one I would recommend to anyone who just wants simple entertainment.
