There is not really much information out there about this film, but it's a damn good one.
The story centers around a young man who is madly in love with a very mysterious woman. They have several rendezvous and he soon discovers that she belongs to the world of the dead.
How she got that way is an interesting back story which I won't spoil here. This is a beautifully shot movie based on a traditional Japanese ghost story.
The print from Sinister is beautiful widescreen and in Japanese with English subtitles. I don't know of anyone else offering this little gem so if you're into Japanese horror tales, I suggest you get this from Sinister.
The ending can be good or sad, depending on your point of view. RECOMMENDED!!
