Ken Berry appeared in many, many TV shows including "The Brady Bunch", "Ellery Queen", "Love American Style" and "Life And Times Of Grizzly Adams" just to a name a few.
However his biggest claim to fame came with the role of Sam Jones on "Mayberry R.F.D. which ran from 1968-1971. In the show he played a single father trying to raise a young son and it was a TV ratings winner all three seasons it was on the air.
In the early 1980's Berry came back in a big way starring in the hit comedy show "Mama's Family" which ran for 7 years from 1983 to 1990. Berry also appeared in several films such as "The Cat From Outer Space".
He passed away on Dec. 1st at the age of 85.
