Nine years ago I made it very clear I love the city of New Orleans, the Superdome and the Saints. If you don't like football that's fine, you'll not even understand why I am writing this.
Yesterday the Saints played the Rams in an NFC title game to see who'd go to the Superbowl and low and behold the Los Angeles Rams won the game, with a LOT of help from crooked officials.
Even the league has admitted that they blew the call and cost the Saints the game. What they don't tell you is that is was a blatant attempt to get the Rams in the Superbowl to sell box seats at their new multi million dollar stadium they built at taxpayer expense. And the owner married into the Walmart clan, so they needed this win for more money.
Everyone reading this probably has a job of some kind, and if you or I made this kind of idiotic blunder we would be fired. It seems in every walk of life anymore I see incredible stupidity and errors made by people who should know better and there are NO consequences...kind of like crime.
Yes, football is JUST a game, but I hate to see everything tarnished by cheating and corruption. End of RANT.
