I am not a big fan of musicals except for "Grease" and "Xanadu", but this film really caught my attention.
It stars Martha Tilton as a young singer who is forced to take a job as a jukebox company operator after several of her auditions fall thru.
One recording she makes gets mixed up with another woman's and the confusion and comedy kick into full gear. Tiltons' character of Judy Alvin, tries desperately, along with her friends, to get the mix up straightened out so she can get her singing career off the ground.
This is a very light hearted film with 6 numbers sung by the talented Tilton who was Benny Goodman's vocalist in the 40's. Iris Adrian, Charles Collins and Betty Brodel round out a very good cast.
Light, fun and entertaining describes this film perfectly. I cannot recommend it enough.
