Two mutant sharks are captured and put on display in a place called Water World in Cape Town South Africa.
They escape and join the other six swimming off the coast and begin a killing spree. Dr. Nick Harris (Thorsten Kaye) tries to stop the killing rampage with the help of a reality TV star named Roy Bishop (Dan Metcalfe) and a beautiful woman named Samantha Peterson (Nikita Ager).
There are plenty of shark attacks in this movie as well and some of them are hamdled pretty well, but some just don't work. I am sure this is due to a rushed production and low budget.
Yes the film does rip off a lot of shark films and I never expect anything original from these movies. I guess too many people do and end up not enjoying these movies.
I enjoyed this film for what it is...a junk movie for horror fans who just want to kill some time. There are some unforgettable lines in the film which I will just let the viewer find out for themselves, but once you hear them, you never forget them.
Another sequel followed!! Inagine that.
