Believe it or not I have not had a chance to see this since I was about 12 years old.
John Carradine stars as Dr. Max Heinrich Von Alterman, a doctor who is trying to raise an army of zombies for the Nazi party in the hopes they will win WW2.
The doctors experiments are interrupter by the arrival of Larry Adams (Robert Lowery) whose sister was Max's wife and she has died under mysterious circumstances.
Unknown to Larry, Max has also turned his dead wife Lila into a zombie as well. Larry doesn't get any clear answers about Lila's death from Max and this causes a lot of problems.
However Max has bigger troubles when he discovers that Lila is, even as a zombie, showing signs of rebellion and attempting to take control of the zombie horde.
This film makes little sense and has plot holes bigger than the Grand Canyon, but damn, it's fun. The rest of the cast includes Gale Storm, Mantan Moreland, Bob Steele, Veda Ann Borg and Madame Sul-Te-Wan.
If you feel like just having fun with an old horror film, this is the one. I actually recommend this little thriller.
