This 1958 horror/mystery film was released by Howco, and it works quite well.
Lovely Cathy O'Donnell stars as Sheila Wayne, a young woman whose new husband Philip brings her to a home in Florida that seems to be the center of horrible nightmares that Sheila has been suffering.
Philip agrees to take her away, but the car has been tampered with and they cannot leave. As the plot moves along we are introduced to a handy man named Jonus (John Qualen) and the supposed owner of the house Mark Snell (William Ching).
Every character seems to have a lot of dark secrets concering a murder spree in the house many years ago. Sheila comes to know what her nightmares really mean and we learn the truth about both Philip and Mark.
I don't want to give anything away in case you haven't seen this movie. I will recommend it. I have to admit I am prejudiced because I am a sucker for Cathy O' Donnell.
This is also known as "My World Dies Screaming" and was filmed in the "psycho-rama" process which leave subliminal messages on the brain. Put that aside and just enjoy a well made thriller.
