COUNT YORGA VAMPIRE 1970 (MGM)

Wow, this is a super scary film and holds up very well today.

Robert Quarry is a vampire who stalks women in modern day Los Angeles. He preys on two couples and when one of the women is found eating the family cat a doctor suspects that a vampire may be at work.

Quarry IS the only actor who could play Yorga and Roger Perry and Michael Murphey are his adversaries. The print from MGM is excellent in every way and it even carries the original title which was The Loves Of Count Iorga, Vampire.

Highly recommended horror for late night viewing. If you watch this I guarantee you will not be disappointed and it will give you some goose pimples. There is some clever camera work such as when Yorga dispatches a man who lives on a boat the killing is shown in the reflecting water which makes the entire scene very off kilter.
