Roddy McDowell stars in this great little shocker as Arthur Pimm, a young man working in a museum that obtains a statue that turns out to be the original Golem.
Pimm keeps the mummified body of his mother at his house and steals jewels for her. He also has a fixation for a young woman named Ellen Grove, played by sexy Jill Haworth. He brings that Golem to life and it kills many people before the army decides to use a small nuclear device to kill the monster!!
McDowell dies but the Golem still lives on after the A bomb. Now this is a purely pulp story and not to be taken seriously at all. A well made film that will hold your attention and will not bore you. Recommended!!
