TOP 40 DVD RELEASES OF 2012 PART 2

Here is the second part of my list of the 40 best releases of 2012.....

30. Girl In Room 2A (Mondo Macabro) Strange little giallo involving the torture and killing of several women and starring the luscious Rosalba Neri.
29. Elvira's Movie Macabre: Wild Women (EONE) Four episodes of her Tv show that ran for a year in 2010-2011 includes 2 never before seen episodes. The movies are "Wasp Woman". "Untamed Women", "Wild Women Of Wongo" and "Hercules And The Captive Women". This is a fun and well made set for any collector.
28. Supershark (Retromedia) John Schneider stars in this Fred Olen Ray film about a huge prehistoric shark that can also walk on land on fly!! Silly, but fun and enjoyable on an entertaining level.
27. The Boogens (Olive) Finally this great little 1980 horror thriller about hideous fanged monsters living underground sees the light of day thanks to Olive. Rebecca Balding stars.
26. Face Of Fu Manchu (Warner Archive) The first Fu Manchu film starring Christopher Lee finally makes it to DVD from Warner Archive. He is attempting to take over the world and actually kills over 3000 people in this film alone!! Great wide screen print.
25. Lethal Ladies 2 (Shout Factory) A terrific collection of three films from the Roger Corman Stable. "The Arena" starring gorgeous Pam Grier and Margaret Markov, "Fly Me" starring Pat Anderson and "Cover Girl Models". These three rare little films finally see light from Shout as they continue to release little gems like this from the Roger Corman library.
24. Elvira's Movie Macabre: Giant Monsters (EONE) Four more episodes from the TV show hosted by the always sexy and funny Elvira. This set contains "Attack Of The Giant Leeches", Monster From A Prehistoric Planet", "Teenagers from Outer Space" and "Giant Gila Monster." This is a must for Elvira fans.
23. Sand Sharks (Phase Four Films) Corin Nemic and sexy Brooke Hogan star in this film about sharks who actually swim under the sand and eat people. Good premise and this was Brooke Hogan's first film and it's directed by Mark Atkins. I think Brooke is hotter than hell and this is her first of two movies in this survey.
22. Bigfoot (Cheezy) John Carradine stars in this low budget film about bigfoot monsters capturing women for breeding!! Joi Lansing also stars and that makes this a MUST for fans like me. They simply don't make films like this anymore.
21. Tales That Witness Madness (Olive) Once again a rare Paramount film is released by Olive. Donald Pleasence is a doctor who runs an asylum and several horror tales are told about the inmates. Joan Collins also stars.

Next week the survey continues....
