Basically a remake of the 1964 film "Godzilla Vs. The Thing" but with a higher environmental awareness.
A giant egg is discovered as well as it's two protectors which happen to be the "Cosmos", two tiny fairies who are from Infant Island.
Mothra eventually hatches from the egg and just in time to join in a battle between a very angry Godzilla and another monster called Battera, which is in essence an evil Mothra.
The special effects are all top notch and Battera is a pretty cool looking monster. Battera is a monster that seems to represent the evil man has done to the planet. This is not a bad film, but I do think it could have honestly been about 20 minutes shorter to be really tightened up.
On Bku-ray this looks good and the sound is excellent. No Godzilla fan should be without this in their collection.
