Tom Rounds passed away on June 1st at the age of 77. Rounds was one of the main contributors and creators of the greatest radio show of all time "American Top 40."
When the show first aired on July 4th 1970, it has 8 stations and by 1982 had over 500 thanks to Tom's tireless ability to present the show to stations and prove it was a money maker.
Rounds will be missed by my generation. but his legacy with AT 40 will live on forever.
