Hunter had an acting career that lasted 60 years and really made a name for himself in the late 1950's and early 60's.
His blonde hair and boyish good looks landed him in several excellent films including "Damn Yankees", "That Kind Of Woman", "They Came To Cordura" and much more including his own short lived TV series in 1959-60.
During the mid 60's he starred in films like "Ride The Wild Surf", "War Gods Of The Deep" and "Birds Do It". In the 70's he had moved to a lot of TV work and appeared in such shows as "Ellery Queen", "Police Woman", "Charlie's Angels", and many more.
His career slowed a bit in the 80's and 90's but I remember his performances in such film as Cameron's Closet" and one of my favorites because it's so damn bizarre, "Grotesque" which also starred Linda Blair.
The first time I ever saw him in a film was in "War Gods Of The Deep" as a child. A great career and some great memories.
