This is a great 3 disc set, that while it does have it's flaws, is one of the best releases of the year. I used to be a huge wrestling fan, but haven't watched much in many years, however, the women always hold my attention.
This set concentrates only on the WWE, which is sad, but it does have a ton of interesting things going for it. Disc one starts out in 1984 with a look at Wendi Richter when she won the Women's Championship Belt from Fabulous Moolah at MSG.
During the 80's and 90's women's wrestling was seen as something totally different than it is today. The discs also highlight several of the women who have made the Women's Division what it is today including Richter herself, Sherri Martell, Ivory, Mickie James, Lita, Trish Stratus and many more.
At the bottom of this blog you see whom I consider to be the most talented and beautiful woman in the business today, Naomi, and there isn't too much with her on this set and to me that is a shame, as she has done much in this particular entertainment field. Putting all of my personal views aside, I do recommend this disc for wrestling fans.
If you want to see a short history of women in this sport from 1984 to 2018, from Wenbi Richter to Ronda Rousey, then get this set. I hope more sets about the beautiful and talented women will be released.
If I had to pick favorite matches on this set I would of course say any with Naomi, but I am very impressed with the antics and ability of Sasha Banks.
