The Austrian born actor started his career in 1950 but became better known to genre fans in 1961 when he starred in his only genre film entitled "Werewolf In A Girl's Dormitory".
He also played Baron Von Richthofen in the classic 1966 film "The Blue Max". He was the brother of actor Maximilian Schell.
He passed away in Switzerland on June 6th, 2019 at the age of 91.
