Extremely rare and obscure British TV film from the mid 1950's. The bizarre story revolves around 8 men who reunite every year since the end of WW2 for a dinner and friendly chat.
Their former leader's ghost joins them in spirit as well. All seems to be going well until they begin their reenactment of their final flight, which was a suicide mission.
During this we find out that all of the men are actually dead, but there is one final twist that I won't spoil here. It really packs a wallop and isn't soon forgotten.
There isn't much written about this on the internet and it is quite rare as I mentioned earlier. I first saw this on A Sinister VHS tape years ago and it was nice to revisit it on DVD.
I really recommend you check it out if you like good ghost stories. It's really too bad this isn't better known.
