I saw this listed in TUBI and decided to give it a chance and it threw something at me I wasn't expecting at all. What was that you ask?
It was apparently distributed by American International Pictures as their logo and great theme music was the first thing that caught my attention.
From there we go to Burma during WW2 and see three prisoners who are being questioned by the Japanese. We see that at least two of the three have one of their hands cut off.
Flash forward to London in 1960 nd we have a detective involved in a series of murders in which the victims have lost their hands. You also have suicide, blackmail and sordid other things going on as well.
There is a LOT packed into a scant 61 minute running time and I don't want to give away too much. It's a very well made little movie and the final directing effort of Henry Cass.
The cast includes Derek Bond, Reed De Rousen, Tony Hilton, Ray Cooney, Michael Moore and Jean Dallas. A Highly Recommended Edgar Wallace -type thriller.
