I don't really care what others say about this film, I have always found it very interesting since I first stumbled upon it on VHS many years ago.
It seems that in a small town in New Jersey a cult of vampires made up of the Sheriff, doctor, mortician and a few others live by creating accidents so they can feast on the blood of the victims.
Things seem to be running well until an elderly woman dies and the vampires feed on her, then the family decides to have the wake at their house and her corpse gets up and starts walking all over town. Then the town doctor gets the hots for the elderly woman's daughter and puts the bite on her causing even more problems.
The actors do their best for being amateurs and most are actually quite good. The old woman roaming the town looking for victims is something I will not forget. I know the teeth she has are somewhat ill fitting, but there is a certain look that she has that really works well.
I would recommend this to horror fans, but if you're looking for tons of action as people are accustomed to in this day and age you might not like it, but if you're into low budget gems you might like it.
