Eddie Deezen stars in this comedy about a mob boos who wants his son groomed to take over his position when he dies.
William Hickey is Don Anthony a gangster who is shot and almost killed by two would be assassins, one of whom is played by Brinke Stevens. He decides to have his son, who is away at military school brought to him and groomed to be the next leader of the "Family".
Eddie Deezen is Tony, the skinny nothing happening kid who is the Don's son. There are some very silly yet funny sight gags and sound gags in this film and all of the actors seem to be having a very good time.
Deezen does his usually good performance as a loser turned into a somewhat successful loser, and Morgan Fairchild is sexy as hell as Gina, Don Anthony's girlfriend. Anything this woman is in I will watch.
The rest of the cast includes Stuart Whitman as Don Francisco, Jack O' Halloran, Irwin Keyes, Don Stroud, Dick Miller, Mike Mazurki (his last role) as Don Taglianeti, Len Lesser as Don Caglianoti, Vince Barbi as Don Rigatoni, and Leo Gordon.
I don't know why this isn't on DVD yet, but I keep hoping one day it will appear.
