Bob Hastings has passed away at the age of 89. He died on June 30th.
He acted in soap operas such as "As The World Turns" but he will always be remembered by me as the dimwitted Lt. Carpenter on McHale's Navy. In his career he had done extensive TV work in many, many shows including "All In The Family" and "Adam 12".
RIP Bob Hastings.
