Nelson starred in 436 episodes of "Peyton Place" and appeared in hundreds of movies including sci-fi classics such as "Attack Of the Crab Monsters", "The Brain Eaters" and "Night Of the Blood Beast".
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia. He was 85.
