A 36 foot crocodile escapes from captivity and goes on a rampage.
The croc has swallowed a purse with a million dollars in it, and everyone seems torn between killing it as a threat or trying to get the money back.
The woman that owned the purse is Wen Yan (Barbie Hsu) and she really overplays her character as a hysterical woman wanting to get her money back from the creature that swallowed it. She enlists the aid of a local Bejing police officer who, at first, thinks she's crazy.
The films much like a comedy during it's 90 minute running time, but at least the monster is more realistic looking than films like this made in the USA. It's enjoyable, but it seems to strike everyone differently.
I did read a review that said it was "racially inappropriate" but that is garbage. This is just a bizarre Chinese monster movie that misses the mark. If you're so inclined, check it out.
