After reading all of the negative things about this film I finally decided to give it a run.
This film concerns a young female filmmaker who, along with her crew, sets out to investigate a mystery of a flooded island where hundreds have died and apparently disappeared as well.
As the film unwinds we see several quick shots of what appears to be ghosts of those who have died there before watching the proceedings and then every character slowly starts to fall apart mentally.
This is really the kind of movie that makes you scratch your head and say "huh?". I believe what the film makers were doing is making a film that lets the viewer decide what they think is happening. I did that very thing and came up with the fact that the filmmaker and her crew were already dead, but I could be wrong.
Despite everything that has been written about this film, I would recommend seeing it and deciding for yourself. There are some very well done moments that will make you jump a bit.
The cast is made up of people I have never heard of before, yet most of them do a credible job. So, again, check it out if you choose to and make your own decision. Not the best film of it's kind, but I have seen much worse.
